Join the YWCA in honoring 12 outstanding women in Story County who are living out the Y's mission of eliminating racism and empowering women. Are you interested in becoming a mentor for the 2024-2025 academic year to a junior high female and contributing to our mission of empowering girls and women? The Girls Power Mentoring Program pairs ISU females with Ames middle school girls. Girls Power meets biweekly as a group, and one-on-one every other week.
