Women of Achievement

Join the YWCA in honoring 12 outstanding women in Story County who are living out the Y's mission of eliminating racism and empowering women. The event will take place on Thursday, March 28th, 2024, from 6-8pm at Rieman Gardens. Tickets are 1 for $35 or 2 for $60 and can be purchased at the door. For more information, visit

Join our program: Engaging International Spouses and Students

Are you an international student or a spouse of an international student? Join the YWCA's Engaging International Spouses and Students program for weekly workshops on English Pronunciation, Crafts, field trips, and fun making new friends! Become a Girls Power Mentor

Are you interested in becoming a mentor for the 2024-2025 academic year to a junior high female and contributing to our mission of empowering girls and women? The Girls Power Mentoring Program pairs ISU females with Ames middle school girls. Girls Power meets biweekly as a group, and one-on-one every other week. Become a CollegeBound Mentor

Are you interested in becoming a mentor for the 2024-2025 academic year to a high female and contributing to our mission of empowering girls and women? The CollegeBound Mentoring Program pairs ISU females with Ames high school females. CollegeBound meets biweekly as a group, and one-on-one every other week.
